Game Night Outfit - Oilers v. Avalanche - 2/18/18

Matinee games are always strange for me. Partially because you can see daylight through some of the sections at Pepsi Center, but also because I truly struggle to say "today" rather than "tonight". I wonder how many times I've said "tonight" without thinking about it and made people question my intelligence. FYI...the habit of saying "tonight" is difficult to change!!

None the less, it was a day game and I wanted to find an outfit option appropriate for this 1 o'clock start time.

Polka Dot Wrap Dress

Everyone loves a good wrap dress, am I right?! They're so classic and always look flattering on various body types. I found this blue polka dot dress at the Forever 21 in Broomfield at the Flatiron Crossing Mall. They had a ton of them, and I just purchased it last weekend!! I can't seem to find the exact dresses online but I found a bunch of adorable Polka Dot Dresses from Forever 21.

Bauble Bar

I've featured this necklace in previous game night outfit posts already. There's a reason it's been featured in multiple outfits!! You may have also seen this necklace all over instagram. I'd say between this necklace and the Free People bralettes, they're the hottest instagram pieces right now!

Everyone needs a pair of nude heels! I have nearly worn these into the ground. These nude heels from Aldo are so gorgeous and closest to the pair I wore during our matinee game this past week!

Game Night Outfit - Canadiens v. Avalanche - 2/14/18

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

On this Valentine's Day game night, we played the Montreal Canadiens whose colors are bright red, blue & white....therefore, red & white were out for any possible Valentine's Day outfit options. This left me in quite the predicament. Naturally, I found some hot pink heels and the rest is history!

Waking Up in Vegas Gold & Black Sequin Dress

Even though this game night fell on a Tuesday, I felt that the Valentine's Day holiday allowed for a sparkly fun dress. Enter a re-used outfit from NYE last year! As much as I hate re-using my older outfits, I felt that a season apart was fair. The only downside is that this fun sparkly dress is no longer available. However, you can enter your information incase they ever bring this dress back into stock! It came from Lulu's which is one of my go-to websites for dresses. Wild Diva Lounge Adora 55 Neon Pink Studded Heels

This outfit was ALL. ABOUT. THE. HEELS. 

I'm obsessed with these Valentino look-a-like hot pink heels. As much as I would LOVE to own a pair of fancy heels, they're not exactly budget friendly on the wallet. I'll settle for these $34...yes I said $34, cute studded heels any day of the week!

They are available a few places online, I actually found them at Flatiron Crossing Mall in Broomfield, at a store called Angels. Admittedly I bought 5 pairs of shoes that day from there, but I only spent $140!!! They have these heels in a few different styles and colors there too!

Game Night Outfit - San Jose v. Avalanche - 2/6/18

One of my favorite things during the week is deciding what game night outfit I'll be wearing for the upcoming game(s). I want to take a minute to let you all know how much I appreciate your love and feedback on my game night outfits & my blog posts!

I had a ton of tweets & messages about this game night outfit and I'm so excited to share the details with you!

Twirl Me Around Skirt

First things first, I bought this skirt back in April of 2015. A little bad news/good news...since this was purchased SO long ago, they no longer have it available up on their website BUT the good news is that I've found it posted on another site! You may have read my blog post about selling my clothes on Poshmark previously (If you haven't....check it out here!) So this skirt IS available on Poshmark!

The other good news about this skirt being from April of 2015...their clothes LAST! Shopping online is always a bit of a risk. It's hard to determine the quality of the clothes when you shop online, especially when you don't have all of the return abilities that stores can offer. 

Tobi is one of my hidden gem favorites!! They constantly offer steep discounts on their clothes and have a ton of variety! The only downside to many of their sale items is that they are final sale. In my experience, I haven't wanted to return a single item that I've ordered from them. 

Lace Bodysuit

Bodysuits are IN! I'm completely fine with this trend! This lace one from Forever 21 is another easy go-to in my wardrobe. Forever 21 has a ton of options when it comes to bodysuits, the closest one to the lace style I wore can be found here. Sometimes it takes a little creativity to put together and layer these pieces, I always recommend trying a few different bralettes underneath to see how they come together! 

Black Bomber Jacket

Apparently I was throwing the whole outfit back because this jacket was easily from my early days as a high school student. Every now and then you find a winner at Forever 21. This was most definitely one of them.

Bauble Bar Aimee Layered Y Chain

Okay I know I say this all the time but, my NEW jewelry obsession is this necklace! I have a lot of jewelry obsessions okay?! I admit it. This necklace from BaubleBar been all over instagram, I finally ordered it and I completely understand why it's so popular!!

I love this version of the necklace since it has the choker level along with the longer Y chain. It does come in a few different lengths as well.

I LOVE Forever 21 heels! I know it's surprising but I've always had a lot of luck shopping for heels at Forever 21, and they're always super comfy too! These lace up open toe booties are no different! Forever 21 stores are carrying a lot more options in store so you can try them on first and really get a feel for them prior to purchasing.

Snow Days

Anyone who knows me, is well aware that the cold weather is not my favorite. Yes, I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado (DISCLAIMER: I'm not a hippie or a weirdo), but the beach has always called my name far more than the snowy mountains.

I struggle to step out of the black, white and grey top box. But why would I when I have tops like this?! I found this one at Aritzia when I was visiting my best friend in Toronto. The fact that Aritzia doesn't exist in Colorado is such a travesty. Luckily, the magic of online shopping allows us to bridge that barrier. This Zayn Top is so soft and can be worn with everything!! Plus it comes in 6 different colors for just $40.

Black Lace Up Booties - Scorpio
