Game Night Outfit - San Jose v. Avalanche - 1/18/18

If you haven't enjoyed a Colorado Avalanche game in person.....DO IT!! Avs have been on a ridiculously amazing win streak, and there's just nothing like a live hockey game! 

If you don't believe me, just ask my new Australian friends who traveled all the way from down under to enjoy an Avs game at Pepsi Center!! More on these two adorable Aussies in a bit. 

Game Night Outfit

I really do my best not to repeat outfits, especially since I've started this blog. The outfit I wore for this game against San Jose is a repeat from our season ticket member party at Top Golf. So it kind of counts as a new game night outfit, kind of. The shoes were different, so that's something.

Navy Blue Bodycon Dress

The dress is a bodycon shaped thicker material. I really appreciate when a dress like this has a thicker material to it, any woman (well almost any woman) will love when a dress feels like it sucks you in. It doesn't matter what size or shape you are, it makes you feel better about yourself. I bought this navy blue dress a while ago from H&M. They truly have the BEST dress collection without having to drop your whole wallet at the store.

Burgundy Leather Jacket

The burgundy leather jacket is another favorite in my wardrobe. I found this beauty on Romwe. Be careful if you visit this site, you will get sucked in FOR HOURS!!! But you'll probably find some really fun and cute additions for your wardrobe for practically nothing!

They don't have my exact jacket on there any more but I found one that's almost identical for just $30! Check out the burgundy faux leather jacket here.

Vince Camuto Kiminni Studded Booties

These are hands down a new favorite of mine!! I actually found these on Instagram originally and fell in love with them. They're super comfortable and actually have a much smaller heel than I'm used to (meaning I can do distance runs with them). Vince Camuto has great shoes and you can find them in a variety of different places! I bought these on Dillard's website here. You can get them on Zappos, Vince Camuto, Nordstrom or Lord & Taylor. That way if you get extra points or have any rewards with a particular designer, you can buy them at any of the above options!

They Come From a Land Down Under

During our UC Health Fan Fit Challenge, I had the privilege of meeting these two adorable Aussies, Georgie & Mitch were so much fun! Hockey isn't a huge thing in Australia so I'm sure this was a great experience for them to see in person. Not to mention the Avs have been on quite the hot streak, games are pretty fun right now! I legitimately wanted to keep them in Colorado and be-friend them. Wishing them safe travels on their trip and a big thank you for being so willing to do our fan fit promotion!

Game Day Outfit - Anaheim v. Avalanche - 1/15/18

It's been a hot minute...I have been seriously slacking with my blog posts but I'm back and ready to get some fun posts out to the universe!

We'll start out on Monday Jan. 15th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Avalanche had an unusual 1:00pm day game. With their win over the Anaheim Ducks that day, they extended their win streak to 7!! I heard a stat that said, the last time the Avs won 7 in a row, Instagram wasn't even invented yet! I know Instagram hasn't been around THAT long, but it was still exciting.

Game Day Outfit

It was a day game, so I channeled my inner Britney Spears, grabbed my pencil book and headed out to the arena. Okay, I'm kidding...but I did find this super cute outfit from Free People that felt very "Hit Me Baby One More Time." 

Plaid Mini Skirt

The ultimate red plaid school girl skirt came from Free People. Free People is an easy favorite for me, though their prices are a little on the high end for my liking (yes, I'm super cheap). The positive about Free People and their clothes is that if you buy a skirt like this for $78, it's going to last. Their products are well made, and worth the investment. 

 

Black Bodysuit 

Bodysuits are such a trendy and cute way of snazzying up an outfit! Free People has a ton of cute bodysuits, check out their selection here. This black one I wore was from Free People, but looks like it's no longer available online (sounds about right since it's taken me two weeks to get this post up....heavy eye roll to myself). 

 

I love the bodysuit look mostly because it won't ride up! I have large hips, so when I wear something tight on top it has a tendency to ride up towards my waist, not pretty and definitely not game-night outfit worthy!

Feel Like a Woman Black Suede OTK Boots

These OTK (Over-The-Knee) boots are from a few years ago but I still love working them into the rotation on the regular! They have a cute quilted look on the front and a pointed toe. They're not currently available on Lulu's but you can put your e-mail on their list incase they ever get any more! It's All Fun & Games

A big thanks to Ryan McMahon & Mike Tauchman from the Rockies for participating in our UC Health Fan Fit Challenge. As part of their pre-pre-season training, we strapped on pedometers to these two and they had 20 seconds to get the pedometer number as high as possible. (Only kidding about the pre-pre-season training, but I felt bad for challenging them during their off-season!) These guys played on behalf of two little kiddos and it was adorable!

Game Night Outfit - Wild v. Avalanche - 1/6/18

WHAT. A. NIGHT.

Seriously though, this night was one for the books. Prior to the game, the Colorado Avalanche retired Milan Hejduk's jersey to the rafters. As a Colorado native, I've always been a huge Avalanche fan. Milan played his entire career here in Colorado, which made this jersey retirement that much more special!

(Side Note: this is Alan Roach. If you've ever listened to an Avs game, the Super Bowl, a Vikings game, the Olympics etc...you've probably heard this guy. Roach, is the voice behind those games and many, many more! He's also hilarious and I love him.) 

If you're an Avalanche fan, you probably hate the Wild....I sure do. So this 7-2 win over the Wild on top of Hejduk's jersey retirement was amaze balls!!

Did I mention that my family's jewelry store, Hurdle's Jewelry, helped provide the gifts for Milan & his family during the ceremony?! Yea, that was unbelievable!! I still remember as a 14 year old watching the Stanley Cup championship parade on TV in downtown Denver. If you would've told me then, that I'd have the opportunity to work for the Avalanche organization AND for my family's store to help out with this incredible night, I would've said you were crazy!! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this special evening.

Game Night Outfit

Even though my outfit was far from the focus of the evening, this is after all, a game night outfit post. So, I better mention what I wore for this incredible night!

This dress was actually given to me by my best friend, Shelby Moor...thanks Shelbs. She purchased this dress at Hailee Grace Boutique in Denver. If you've read any of my other posts, you know I'm a huge fan of Hailee Grace!

The navy blue lace overlay is reminiscent of the beautiful DVF dress (but not nearly as expensive as a DVF...score!)

I love the style of this dress too! It has a girly touch but still has a nice conservative look about it.

Below is a photo of me and my gorgeous counter-part Alexis Perry. I'm so thankful to work with such a strong and beautiful woman! It's hard to find women in this industry who are truly genuine and caring. I'm so thankful to call this gorgeous girl my friend! 

Zodiac - 10X Nude

These Valentino look-a-likes are absolutely a must have. They're just $47 on Qupid. They also come in a few different colors. I have the open-toed version of these shoes and love them, so these were a perfect addition to my shoe closet. Shop this style here!

Game Night Outfit - Blue Jackets v. Avalanche - 1/4/18

Happy New Year! Well this was officially my first game back from Cabo since the new year celebration...and yes I realize it's been a week and a half since we celebrated the new year. I'm slowly catching up on life after vacation! Who else finds it impossible to jump back into the swing of things post vacation? I swear that saying, "you need a vacation from your vacation" is so true. 

In all honesty, my brain was functioning at a 2 on a scale of 1 - 10 during this game. However, that didn't stop me from planning a fun little game night outfit! 

Austin Black Dress

I have more LBD's than I should...So I decided to buy one more. This one is from Kiwi Boutique in Boulder. Kiwi Boutique is a cute boutique on Pearl Street (just down the street from our jewelry store). The owner, Whitney (who I've met and is super, super nice!) named the boutique after her adorable, friendly, yellow lab named Kiwi. Kind owner, sweet pup....enough said right?! If you're up in Boulder, you should definitely check this place out!

Glee Tangerine Snake

Anyone who knows me, knows I love a colorful pair of heels. Pretty much all of my posts lately have featured shoes from Qupid, and this post is no different.

These Glee Tangerine Snake heels are definitely one of my new favorite pairs! They're only $42 and come in black, tangerine & white! They're comfortable too, which is always a very important factor when it comes to my heel selection. Game Night Outfit - Coyotes v. Avalanche - 12/27/17

It's been a while since I've posted which I fully blame on Cabo! (More to come on that later!) It's time to catch up on a few game night outfit posts!

Since I was headed out of town following this game, and it was the closet game to New Years Eve for me, I wanted to sparkle it up! During Small Business Saturday I did some serious shopping at local boutiques. My jacket & leggings came from two of my favorite local spots.

Lost + Wander Haute Gold Sequin Bomber Jacket - Hailee Grace Boutique

Everything about this jacket is amaze balls, plain and simple!

Unfortunately, the jacket is not available on Hailee Grace's website. So if you're not in Denver to check out their cute boutique, you can find this jacket available on Lost + Wander's website (For size reference I wear a size XS) This jacket is $105, and worth every penny!

Joseph Ribkoff Black Sheer Leggings - Sous Le Lit 

Sous Le Lit is another one of my favorite local boutiques which is where I found these leggings. I find it so hard to find leggings that look appropriate enough to wear on their own without something over your bum. These do the trick! Yes they're a little bit of a splurge, but the versatility of where I can wear them makes up for the higher price tag.

Satin & Lace Cami Top - H&M

I have three different versions of this top because I wear them ALL. THE. TIME. They're such a good investment! They are the perfect top to go under anything...a jacket, a sweater, an off-the-shoulder top, you name it!

This one is from H&M and they have 4 or 5 different versions of this style! I love this one in particular, which is an online exclusive.
